Biome route
Plains progression guide
Black metal, barley, flax, fulings, lox, and Yagluth prep.
Field note
What to do next
Treat the Plains as a damage spike. Secure barley and flax, avoid deathsquitos, and build padded gear before fighting Yagluth.

Route sketch
Plains field plan
First Plains scouting loop
The Plains looks open, but that openness is the danger. Deathsquitos, lox, and fuling patrols can reach you quickly, so the first loop should identify farms, villages, altar clues, and a safe portal edge without starting a village war.
- +Scout in daylight from a neighboring biome edge before placing a deep Plains portal.
- +Keep the portal away from deathsquito patrol lines and lox movement paths.
- +Mark villages, tar pits, barley or flax sources, and Yagluth marker stones before raiding.
Farm before full aggression
Barley and flax are the Plains economy. Once you get starter crops, protect a Plains-only farm and turn it into food and linen before pushing every village on the map.
- +Plant barley and flax inside Plains territory; they will not grow in earlier biomes.
- +Build walls or terrain protection around the farm before leaving it unattended.
- +Use barley food and fire resistance wine as the bridge from Mountain gear to Yagluth readiness.
Village raid discipline
Fuling villages are resource jackpots and death traps. A clean raid pulls enemies out in pieces, removes shamans and spear throwers early, and avoids fighting at night when extra pressure can arrive.
- +Use bow pulls from outside the camp instead of running into the center.
- +Break line of sight against spear throwers and avoid chasing fulings through open fields.
- +Leave with black metal scraps and totems before greed turns a cleared edge into a full camp collapse.
Yagluth readiness
Yagluth is not the first time to test fire resistance. Brew wine early, clear the altar area, and make sure your food can support a long fight with repeated repositioning.
- +Collect fuling totems only after the farm and food loop are stable.
- +Clear nearby villages, lox, and deathsquito paths before placing the summon items.
- +Keep spare fire resistance, healing, food, and a recovery portal outside the arena pressure.
Before entering
- +Moder defeated.
- +Pierce protection and shield discipline.
- +Portal placed outside deathsquito patrol paths.
- +Fire resistance barley wine before Yagluth.
First objectives
- +Scout during the day and avoid rushing villages.
- +Build an artisan table after Moder.
